For over 20 years we are the most important border
crossing cargo station of Central Southern Europe:
located at the Italian-Slovene border town going by the same name,
the Intermodal Terminal of Trieste-Fernetti
is the main gateway of the international
foreign trade in the middle of the intermodal
corridor connecting Barcelona and
Kiev.
The Terminal consists of 24 thousand
mē of warehousing and
130 thousand mē
of open space for parking/customs bond/storage
yards is directly connected
to the Railway station of Villa Opicina,
authorized for Intercontainer traffic;
the motorway to Venice
(route to Italy - Switzerland - France
- Spain); Tarvisio
(route to Austria - Germany) and Ljubljana
(route to Slovenia - Central Southern
Europe)
